Venezuela/Gran Colombia Infantry (Command)

$7.20

12 figures. 1 colonel, 1 flag ensign, 1 drummer, 4 captains, 3 fusileros, 1 cazadore, 1 granadero.

Colonel, flag ensign and drummer come in 1 pose. Captains come in 2 poses. Sergeants come in 3 fusilero poses, 1 cazadore pose and 1 granadero pose. All figures in 1813 Regulation uniform.

Use these figures to build the command stands for your Venezuelan and Gran Colombian battalions. Captains wore "espoletas" or shoulder boards (epaulets with no fringes) while Colonels had full epaulets. Sergeant rank was indicated by stripes on the right arm.

IMPORTANT: SERGEANT RANK WAS INDICATED BY STRIPES ON THE RIGHT ARM. OTHERWISE THEY LOOKED LIKE OTHER RANKS.

These figures can also be used in conjunction with LI-01 Llanero/Peasant Infantry to build the rag tag Venezuelan armies of 1813-1819 that often lacked uniforms and other equipment.

Please note - the colonel, flag ensign and drummer figures are the same as for CI-04. The fusilero figures are the same as for CI-01.
